Ron’s experience in technology and business spans over 30 years including the creation of sustainable business ventures in eco-housing, eco-farming, and rainforest management.
After witnessing the pine beetle’s devastating impact on the forests of British Columbia, Ron was empowered to change the present world economic view of nature as “worthless” to “priceless”. Ron created the RMDLT Property Group Ltd, a for profit social enterprise company committed to the preservation, management and creative business management of rainforests in Central and South America and Kab’ Way Enterprises Inc., a company that provides land and ecological management solutions through innovative business consulting and development.
In 2010 Ron was invited to become a member of the prestigious Asymmetric Threats Contingency Alliance, a philanthropic expert initiative founded in 2001 to resolve complex global challenges through collective Socratic dialogue and joint executive action.
Ron is currently consulting for “Better in Belize”, an eco-community designed to minimize the disturbance to its surrounding environment and use of natural resources, energy, and water with its bioclimatic and permaculture design features. He is also working on creating REDD (Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation) based carbon sequestration projects in the tropical rainforests of Central and South America through RMDLT Property Group. These projects seek to provide countries with monetary stimulus through sustainable business and social development to halt destruction of rainforests and their associated biodiversity.
